CMD + Tap not fixed in Monterey 12.1

Although Apple stated they fixed tap to click on Monterey 12.1, its STILL VERY inconsistent when CMD + Tap. One has to click harder, or many times before the tap registers (which is not the case when NOT using CMD before tap).

Cmd + tap is used a lot for opening links on a new tab!

Let's make some noise, I already uploaded this on the Apple Feedback website but Im afraid they won't notice this topic since they "already" fixed tap to click...

I'm facing some issues with inconsistency of trackpad too. For me de Cmd + Tap works fine, but constantly the trackpad misses some gestures using by wifi. When I connect it using USB it works like a charm.

Hi all, First experience with Monterey has been with B9 but B10 has same issue - has anyone had issues with tap-to-click? I have a M1 MBA, and very frequently TTC doesn't register my first click. Normal clicks seem to work fine. Tried turning on and off. Anyone experiencing this?

my issue is tap + shift is still finicky in 12.1, which is a common method for deleting mail (skipping trash folder) in some programs. argh.

What the hell this is not getting fixed! Cmd + tap on trackpad does not work!! for opening new tabs in safari for example, one has to tap 3 times!!! @MacRumors help!

At this point I fear there is some hardware problem that they can't fix without some firmware update. Which slips priority.

I regularly report this to Apple via the Feedback App. I get no response. This is unacceptable for such a premium brand.
