Hello, folks!
Need your help.

cMP 2009 -> 2010.
Clean install of Win10, separate SSD.
There is no sound:
1) sound drivers are installed (windows defaults);
2) sound volume can be changed;
3) no sound - neither in speakers, no in headphones;
4) there is no unknown devices in system profiles;
5) in Mojave sound is OK.

What may i do?

PS: Have just found that cMP's backplane includes ALC885 codec. Going to reinstall driver from Realtek site. But can't find win10 driver for it.

After bootcamp install it automatically starts to work.

Have you seen realtek’s orange speaker icon on the right bottom tab?

Maybe you can try with “driver booster” it really helped me out about drivers (thanks to someone from the forum).

1. I did not install bootcamp at all. It was clean install on separate drive.
What version of bootcamp do you recommend in my case? (cMP 2009->2010, 7970, Win10).

2. I don't see realtek’s orange speaker icon on the right bottom tab. Just standard win10 speaker icon.

It is better to install bootcamp drivers 5.1.5621 then problem will be solved.

Totally different scenario for me...I installed bootcamp's parts and pieces, but no actual bootcamp. Used brigadeer and followed the write up in another post which worked fine for everything else, but ended up having to dig through the files and drivers manually after all the cmd were entered as my line out speaker and speaker in the mac quit working in windows after that. Using the RealTek installer in the BootCamp folder the tutorial made ended up fixing my audio. I realize im Necro'ing a thread thats over a year old, but hey, it's the interwebs, and someone else might find it useful. :)
