cMP 5,1 DisplayPort Audio

I have a 5,1 with a GTX 680 connected via DisplayPort to a LG 27UD88-W monitor that has a headphone jack. Is there a way to have audio sent via DisplayPort so I can have speakers plugged into the monitor headphone jack?

Thanks, I saw those threads but assumed it was just for HDMI. Will look into them deeper..
