Hello, I am the proud new owner of a Mac Pro 5,1 and unfortunately I received it without a GPU. I managed to get an AMD RX 570 nonEFI GPU with which I installed Monterey via OCLP. On this occasion, I noticed that I have the firmware on the Mac Pro at version MP51.0084.B00

Not being able to get an EFI supported GPU, is there any way to upgrade from MP51.0084.B00 to MP51.0089.B00 and then maybe even to 144.0.0.0?

Borrow one of the AppleOEM GPUs, upgrade to MP51.0089.B00 with High Sierra, then you can install the RX 570 and upgrade to 144.0.0.0.0. Besides that, only a BootROM reconstruction service.
