As said in topic... I don't get the Apple boot screen since adding a BenQ BL3201PT monitor via DisplayPort - if I have another monitor connected via DVI it will show the boot screen alright, but the point of getting this monitor was to get rid of the 2nd one in my setup:) I know it's not like I need the boot screen very often, but it would be nice to have, and I expected it to work actually, that is what I have read that it should.

Any clues as to if there is a solution or it's just tough luck?

The cMP in question is a 2010 6-core Westmere btw.

I haven't been able to get a boot screen on my Dell P2715Q monitors using SST on my cMP with a 7950, GTX 970 or a nMP with D700's. Switching to MST I get a boot screen but only at 30 HZ.

I think only the MVC 970/980 (& probably titan-x) support SST 4k bootscreens. The website isn't exactly clear to me on whether the other cards do 4k bootscreens or not - they all should support 4k once booted.

I do have a flashed 970 and it does work (though perhaps not as smoothly as I hoped)
