Hello.

Decided to nuke 'n pave my High Sierra cMP and install Open Core and upgrade to BS beta, and now BS GM.
I did not spend much time in Catalina, but I think that runs faster. I did see in Big Sur web pages would sometimes load slow.

Referencing the forum here I downloaded some video app which showed me no video acceleration.

I'm stuck, what steps do I need to take?
I do recall installing this version of Open Core as much easier. I did not need to edit the CPU info or anything like that.
It was more of the mounting of the EFI partition.

Can you help?

Where did you read that you can get hardware acceleration on GTX-680? I can't get it even on Titan:

It is only for the AMD cards. Titan is one of the latest supported NVIDIA cards and there is no HWA.
By the way what do you mean by hardware acceleration decode/encode video or something else?

We can only activate AMD VCE / UVD / VCN via OpenCore. Because the required driver (particularly for the video engine, not just for the GPU) is included in MacOS.

NVENC and NVDEC are owned by Nvidia, and they NEVER release any driver for the video engines in any OSX / MacOS. It’s not about config or setting, but completely lack of the required driver. There is nothing we can do about it.
