Hi all,
After a full week of fighting with my cMP 5.1 (early 2009) with Radeon R580 I finally installed Windows on a second SDD in a SATAII drive.
I followed a tutorial (after trying many): https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/activate-amd-hardware-acceleration.2180095/post-28276984
After running VB and reboot in windows I installed the drivers for the RX580 + running the OC program.
Now my windows works!
I runned a geekbench 4 to test and everything seems fine, except one thing: Windows only see 6 cores of the 12.
I was wondering what I should do?
My first solution would be to run brigadier.exe with the iMacPro 1,1 settings. Only thing is that I am scared it will fail again and I can start for the 6th time the whole process over again.
Any suggestions? Is BootCamp a necesitty to run the max out of the cMP?
Best,
Georges
