First thought: "wow, that's insane!"

Secound thought: "seriously this is where all of our ipads have gone and why we here in the US have to be on waiting lists for weeks"

Sorry, showing that a photo was processed in Photoshop does not make it fake. I use it every day for cropping, color correction, etc....things that involve no pixel level retouching.

Since you've been there (as I have been as well), then you'll remember that English is quite common in Japan for signage.

Not saying this isn't fake, just saying that just because a sign in Tokyo is in English sure as hell doesn't make it a fake.

I thought the iPhone never sold that well in Japan, partly due to cost and not offering some features that the techy Jp market offers on other phones.

This is not impressive at all, considering Japans maniac first day launches.
Add to that, the iPad is not widely available all over the place. It's a 1000 people, you get that on the most unknown of product launches in Tokyo.

Edit: That photo is completely stupid, as is anyone believing its real. They took a photo of what looks like Asakusa, stuck an iPad banner over the top, and expect people to believe its real? Why the **** do people make such bull**** images all the time.
