How and in what ways? Unless they can do something with OS X, isn't this an Adobe/Flash problem like it has been for a long time?

It is and always was an Adobe, not Apple, problem. Anyone trying to watch a small youtube video on a PPC machine can tell you that. It takes 105% of my CPU power to play a normal video and 180% to play "HD"!

i agree.. the same flash version does not have problems on other macs !

On my unibody macbook, 9400M : high cpu load: yes, choppy video: NO !

I literally cannot watch youtubes on my 27" i7. I have no clue what to do about this. It seems no one has this problem anymore. I'm totally updated. If anyone has any other suggestions, please holler.

if you got a ppc mac DONT upgrade to flashplayer 10 as it try`s to claim the processor for itself and the ram too
flashplayer 9 is far better , it even works on my iMac g3 so i can watch youtube videos , apart from the ones which need flashplayer 10
its not adobe alone who makes this crab programming , i found over the years that programmers took less and less afford into making programs that use as less resources as possible , years ago programers had a bit of pride to make programs that could run even on older computers but today it seems like there had been no computers invented until 2007 for them

Don't get me wrong, I have been an Apple owner/user for 6+ years, but this issue bugs the hell out of me. It is obviously an issue with Apple and Adobe both. I mean windows machines play flash videos just fine. Why not Apples? I have a 6 yr old PB and it is a problem, but expected. I recently found click2flash and this helps sometimes. I am contemplating buying a 27" i5 or i7 and figured that flash would be a non-issue but it doesn't sound like it. This is pretty disappointing.

I never had a single issue with my previous iMac in 3 years.

Flash is at the top of my Activity monitor sucking up everything. Running around 112% etc. Can't get through a youtube without pounding my head on the table.

I'm just concerned because the last Snow update seems to have helped everyone but not me?

Maybe its because of all those cookies abobe stores on your computer.....
