Who was that? He talked about the headphones like they were general iPod headphones you can "do what you want with," citing that at cNet they always replace them.

Uh... shouldn't he have mentioned that they weren't standard iPod headphones?

he was just pointing out how crappy the stock headphones are. they [cnet] never test audio quality of a player with headphones that come with it.

of course, these aren't just headphones since they come with a mic but he was just making a point about the actual headphones.
