NY Times doesn't count. Anyone know if CNN or MSNBC is going to be creating a breaking news app?

Nope but you could download an RSS reader and subscribe to their feeds.

pointing to cnn.com on the iphone will take you to their very minimal (aka fast) mobile site.

Agreed about wanting a CNN app and I am sure that they will eventually be making one

Too much potential with us not to make an app like the NYT

I am pretty irked that the NY times takes up screen real estate with ads. But I guess that's what you get with a free app.

MobileNews is a pretty cool one. I really like that it can integrate local news with headline news. Video seems shoddy

I did notice that big ad as well and was slightly bugged by it

Only time before things start having us look at ads on the iPhone that take up the entire page for a few seconds before we proceed
