I'm new to Cocoa/Objective-C programming, but have 6+ years experience in C/C++ programming, mostly in the embedded systems world. I'm looking for a good book to read about Cocoa to help me pick up the API quickly. I've read Aaron Hillgass' Cocoa Programming book, and did not find it as useful as I was hoping. He just doesn't go in depth enough for me. The book reminded me a lot of many OpenGL books I've read; lots of examples, just not enough depth to convince me I could code a useful application on my own.
Anyone have any suggestions for a book that targets the experienced programmer who needs to know details before he is comfortable with an API?
