this is from a reply i made at another site

I posted this a few months ago, but I'm sure there are many who didn't catch this beauty.

Summary of features:

Allows mouse gesture commands (similar to Black and White or Opera) in all cocoa applications. Gestures can be customized, added, deleted, etc.

I might also add that the gesture response is much greater with Safari than Omniweb.

Enjoy!

my god, i gave this a shot the other month but was to lazy to enjoy it.
but NOW and their already supporting SAFARI actually any cocoa app.
i am gonna use my new WAVE OF THE HAND browser commands and
master them. then i'll move onto path finder to control the finder...

this is brilliant...do you know if it works off of inkwell? i already have
SAFARI *apples new toy they made for us free* i swear those guys
are like santa claus. anyway. i have SAFARI reloading, opening new
window, refreshing, going back, going forward, minimizing to dock,
OH poop also i have it going to certain web pages AND now i
dont even need the freaken browser address/tool bar, i even hide
the book mard bar....people that hate the brushed metal will be
offered an extra benefit...you can train your browser to react
to hand movement to control your browser...so you can minimize
all the chrome in SAFARI (except a 1/4 inch at the top that has
the webpage name. and get this. if i want to view my book marks
bar...i figure since i need to go to the top to select a book mark
from the bar, i may as well create a gesture that with a simple right
click and drag up towards the book mark bar ? the book mark bar
slides into view and i select the book mark...one more upward right
click and drag tucks it back up and out of view....talk about an elegant
browser. and this applicaction lets you control it with a brand new
way .....sorta like minority report movemient with your mouse.

this coupled with the huge transparent docks you can make with
dragthing that lets you launch and email with the click of a button.
makes the mac a completely different experience...makes it ahead
of its time.

cocoa jestures kicks @SSSS

just give me the fncking download

..maybe you should try out the various "keyboards" from Fingerworks:

I have the "Touchstream LP", and it is really cool. Open a file? Select it and move your hand as if you were opening the screw-on lid on a jar. Close a window? Move your hand as if you were closing the lid. Zoom out in Photoshop by starting with your fingers spread out, and bring them together. Zoom in by doing the same in reverse. There is a bunch of ready-made application specific gesture sets, and a comprehensive global set.

Unfortunately you can't build your own gesture sets yet, but that seems to be on its way.

end quote.

Now that IS Minority report style.

I cant get them to work....though i am still using my Microsoft Intellimouse drivers....maybe thats bad news.

It said to diable the drivers and use USB overdrive.

Think that will help me?

I can get the little G up but the gestures are not described anywhere in any detail..like how your supposed to do it...i can do it fine in Black and White...but im not sure if its the same style..this stuff really interests me.

new gestures don't do anything, they just bring up the config window. premade ones work well, but i may have to make a better looking mouse icon.

Im using an intellemouse and its ok.
just ignor the "rl" or "rludrs" in the gestures
set up panel. those gestures are to complicated.

once you have gestures installed...go to any
cocoa apps menu, for instance, in SAFARI go
to the SAFARI menu to the left of the FILE
menu, then selected COCOA GESTURES....this
will bring up COCOA GESTURES configuration
panel.

you would probably have better luck if you did
what i did and that was to ignore the predefined
gestures....now to make your own.... go
down to gestures and double click on one under
the GESTURES column. a window will pop up.
this is were you make a gesture that you want
to use.....i dont use letters...i just use a simple
right click and drag UP (for example) and at this
point the gesture window (where you just
drew your gesture) will dissapear. Now back
to the Gesture Panel to set up what you want
that gesture to do. to the right of the gesture
you just made under the FUNCTIONS column,
double click and you will get a prompt asking
you the behavior you want your gesture to
perform. so go up to the SAFARI menus and
choose something...for instance VIEW RELOAD
PAGE.

and viola, you just created a simple right click
drag UP gesture that will refresh your browser
window whenever you want. i hope i made
sense...and hope it works for you :D

THANK YOU SIR!

Gestures kick a$$$$!:D

it worked :D

im happy for you :D

i played with it all night last night.
now that i have my custom gestures pretty much
sett up in SAFARI, i downloaded Path Finder
so i can use gestures for the finder. i already
made one to launch my mail app. im doing
all my gestures with just the mouse. im
trying to get away from the keyboard for
most tasks...and just wave the mouse around.
its so cool to see the future.

hey i love that keyboard link you posted above.
i want one of those gesture pads....now THAT
would be GREAT :D

do you think apple is aware of these gestures?

i love them.

everybody is coming up with these wonderful
ideas. osx is really gonna prove its potential,
then all the whinners will.....well they will
still whine :D

anyway thanks for the keyboard link :D

Im thinking Apple must have had some clue...due to these gestures only working in Cocoa. Which is an Apple baby isnt it? I wasnt sure.

Yeah those Keyboards w/ Gestures would totally make it like Minority Report.
