macOS Cocoa URL Scheme app

I'm searching for some tutorial about how to setup a URL scheme and using it for an cocoa app.

I can only find about iOS apps, not for a mac app.
Does someone have any good tutorial for me ?

I'm not sure that that's doable in OSX... I feel like NSWorkspace lets you do anything in Cocoa that you'd want those URL things for in iOS.

I can open my cocoa app by throwing the url to safari.
myApp://

Now I want to be able to send parameters to there :s

Hi,

Many, many moons ago I did something similar using an AppleScript based technique as documented here:

I'm still finding my feet with Obj-C but I'm sure something similar must be possible. Maybe the AppleScript based solution will give you some clues...
