Some of my friends have said that there are a few rumours that when they bring out COD modern Warfare 3, they will bring out a version on mac? anyone else got any leads or know when it will come out?

Well, if it does come out on Mac, I'm sure it'll be on release day: November 8th (?), 2011.

I don't think there has been any official announcement of a Mac version. As far as I'm aware Activision doesn't develop or publish any Mac games themselves. The previous Mac COD games were released by Aspyr and I believe it was later on. I would say at the very least don't expect a Mac release along side the PC/console versions.
