It seems like Steam's cryptic database is a nice repository (snitch) of what games may be coming to Mac OSX in the near future.

Sifting through Steam's database, and I see that the CoD MW3 database has recently been modified in recent days, with a mention of "MacOS" in the database.

I'm hoping Feral or Aspyr…. my fingers are crossed!

Not really as there are quite a few games in that database that have had Mac OS tags on them for months, even years, that have never seen a port.

Dead Island is in months category, right?

That sounds right. I am not certain but I think so. The Longest Journey is the only one that I am aware of that it has been so long it seems quite unlikely it is ever coming to Mac. MW2 I think was added at the same time as MW3.

I would think they are coming to Mac and hopefully soon. Why else would they bother adding entries for them? I hope both Modern Warfare games do release for Mac along with Dead Island. That would be great.

Dead Island still shows sporadic development activity in the Steam database under the History tab. It seems unlikely that this activity is for the Windows version, since it hasn't had any updates for quite a while now.

yep ,got it two days ago and HOLY #$%. I have not done a positive KDR yet!!!
In COD4 (when nobody is hacking) and Black Ops for Mac I'm usually top 3 or 4 every game.
What the heck!!!!
But the weapons/customization and graphics are great!

not that anyone is reading this, but going positive in games now.
Just needed to find my gun to match my style. pp90m1, silenced, rapid fire

Anyone else here playing?

Also, I can only play one or two games before I have to let my Mac cool down. MW3 makes 2012 macbook pro get REAL HOT and ya can't even play any more cuz it starts to slow things down. Almost looks like lag but it's just the computer stuttering cuz it is too hot to handle the operations. I even play with a cooling pad underneath and fan control set to 6000 rpm.

Hope Im not taking to myself here
