Hi guys,

Im wondering if you can help, im a graphics designer and looking at buying Apple MacBook Pro Retina Display, MD104B/A, Intel Quad Core i7, 2.4GHz, 256GB, 8GB RAM with 15.4 Inch Display, i like to play games such as call of duty 2/4 and CS:GO in my spare time occasionally, do you think id be able to run these easily with my new macbook? apolgises im a bit of a novice when it comes to games, what would my FPS be? Would i benefit from using windows in bootcamp to play these, any response is appreiated, many thanks. :)
 
I play COD4 on my rMBP regularly... it runs fine with graphics up...

CS:GO plays fantastically on this machine, but Steam games appear to only properly see the non-Retina native resolution (1440 x 900). Any higher looks the same, but increases the work the GPU has to do.

Anyway, I play CS:GO with everything maxed out and at 1440 x 900 and it looks and runs beautifully.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that it usually stays at 60 fps (vertical sync on).
