Hi,

A friend of mine swears by CodeBlocks (although he uses it in a Linux environment), I was just wondering if anyone here has used it and if they'd recommend it?

I split my development (C++) between my MBP and my PC (Windows) and I'd love to use an IDE that would let me work between the two with the minimum of hassle.

Thanks

Cossie

A text editor and gcc/g++ gets me a consistant environment on the 3 platforms I frequent. Vi(m) is my editor of choice.

Otherwise, for java I have used eclipse, which I understand supports C++ development as well, though I have not used it for such, so I cannot personally recommend it.

Thanks for the reply lee1210. I have a friend who's a professional C++ developer and he swears by Vi.
