I am currentlly working on a project for our school and i need to know how to code dvds on a mac so they cant be reproduced esaily.

Can you give more details?
As far as copy protection goes, if it can be read, it can be copied.

This is basically right. You can't apply any kind of copy protection without getting replicated disks. That usually means a 1000 piece minimum order, at about $1 a disk (including packaging). You also need a DLT drive to do the mastering. If you do that, you can encode your disk with CSS and/or Macrovision, both intended to prevent copying. However, CSS and Macrovision are both trivial to circumvent, and therefore almost useless.
