i am propping my iPP 12.9” in my lap in bed and in bringing my coffee cup to my mouth to drink I bumped it against the iPad and some drops landed on the corner of the iPad. Just a few (drops about a ¼ of a penny size) but some of the drops landed right on the metal edge, lower right edge of iPP. Is that enough to do damage? Course the iPP still works fine, it’s over time that I’m unsure of.

ETA: black coffee, no additives. Still stupid but just clarifying.

I don't think that can damage it. I've dropped small drops of coffee before and nothing happened.

Yeah, I was just worried because some of the drops landed right on that metal edge between it and the screen. I was afraid even tho small amount, it could seep inside there. Maybe just paranoid. Thanks for replying.

As long as you quickly absorbed the drops, it would not have likely any major effect.

Thanks to all, I feel better. I’ll keep the drinks far away from now on. Love my iPad Pro.
