Folks, I would appreciate some help please!! After several days of pulling hair out of my head, I finally got Parallel running on my MacBookPro ( the $2,500.00 one ). The network did not work at my home for some reason; I finally got it working by first using the share-mode, then switching back to the Bridge mode at once, then I can get on-line. No idea why, but it works for my system.

Questions:

1) I still can't find any info on my user manual from the Parallel Box in regard to how to make the " right click " like function work in Window XP using the mighty mouse. Please kindly share some info !!

2) What exactly is the "Coherence mode" ? I cannot find any info from the Paraellel web site nor from the manual in the box. Please kindly share some info !!

Thanks a million!

Paul

Hold the CRTL key and click = right click.

Coherence, try it, its cool. No words can describe its coolness.

I've never had any trouble with right-click in Windows through Parallels, but then I don't use a Mighty Mouse. Does your Mighty Mouse right-click in OS X?

As for Coherence, if you're using the latest stable release of Parallels, you don't have Coherence. That's a feature that's only on the Beta right now, which you can download and use if you want (the betas are quite stable, that's all I use actually). Coherence mode in Parallels is the "killer app" for me. It allows your Parallels virtual machine to blend in with OS X, making it look like your Windows applications are floating on your Mac desktop along with your OS X applications. I keep Parallels running all the time in Coherence mode on both my Macs, since I have to use Outlook to connect to Exchange email at work, and I need Visio frequently. Coherence is a truly wonderful feature.
