[app]HideMyID[/app]

Nice app to hide/block your caller Id from showing up on the phone of the person you're calling.
Now I can choose who see's my caller ID when I call them.

Works perfectly here in UK.
You can change and save any prefix code you like - how about other countries...anyone given it a go?

What codes do you use, I travel a bit on my job, would like to know for reference?

HideMyID

Does come in use when you want your anonymity.

The prefix codes stated for other countries do work from what I've heard.

Edit before calling

You can also use this app to edit a stored number before calling it which is an added use/benefit, something you can't do with the built in phone app.

I only realised this yesterday, when I touched the number and noticed the entire number could be edited, again without changing the stored number.

Great if you have different calling card prefixes you just use occasionally or want to add an international code etc.

Otherwise, still a great app for hiding your ID, as long as you a useable prefix code.

Missed that too

Can't believe I missed that too. Just noticed that the app description has been changed to mention that functionality, wasn't there when i bought it... go figure.

Edit number before calling and Hide your ID - two functions for the price of one, I like that.

When people give you their numbers from other countries, they rarely put their international code before it. This will make it a lot easier to prefix the international dialling code.

Who Told Them?

Just noticed that the app description has been changed to mention that functionality, wasn't there when i bought it... go figure.

Maybe just like us they didn't realise they'd written an app to do two things instead of one...wonder if they realised it themselves or someone who bought it told them?

The edit before calling is worth it on its own.
