Okay,
I am currently working on an Office Pool site that I hope will get popular at my university and I know the only way to get to work is to have all the pages and data dynamic. So I know that I'll need a database and a web application. I have narrowed it down the following: Cold Fusion and PHP. Both of these will use MySQL for the database, the only thing now is to decide which would be better for what I need.
I need login to the site, not a page. Something similar to the Mac Rumors Forum.
Dynamic tabling for scores and brackets...
The list goes on.
Can anyone give me Pros and Cons of both and which would be best for me?
Thanks.
Steve
