This question has probably been answered before, but I was unable to find a reference.

I have a number of albums (OK, I'm over 40) that appear in Collections in the iTunes library that really don't belong there. Is there a quick and safe method for moving them to a more appropriately named folder?

Also, is there a quick method for renaming the artist on a number of songs in order to solve the slightly different name problem (x & y vs. x and y)?

Thanks in advance ...

Select the songs from the same album using Shift + Click, right click and select "Get Info", then fill in the blanks accordingly.

By the way, X&Y is an awesome album

Thanks. Works for mass renames.

But is there a way to remove the songs from Collections and have iTunes correctly store the groups songs together in a directory reflecting the artist?

PS I prefer x and y.
