hi y’all

I just picked up a MBP 13 and Beats Solo 3 on the college deal but I was wondering if anyone has exchanged the headphones and paid the difference for the Beats Studio 3 wireless?

I would love noise cancelling for headphones, especially when living with 5 other people in my dorm space!

I think I can because the headphones are charged separately and the laptop is discounted the $299 but wanted to make sure before I made the trek to the Apple Store.

Thanks for your help!

I also was looking to do this and (at least here in Canada) the answer was a resounding no!

Worse is the horrible colours offered .. I got matte black. Apple store would not take my web order (MBP shipped to store, Beats Solo3's arrived at my door). The order is the same.

You can try, but not that the 'Decade' edition of the Solo3/Studio3's will not be allowed; beautiful colour combination to the honest.

FYI ... 3 important points:
Charge time on Solo3's is shorter and gives more charge in 5 vs 15mins charge time.
Studio3's will NOT work on wired usage if battery is dead!!!
ANC on Studio's is superb in the home, yet on public transit bus ... you're still going to hear the bus' annoying engine hum regardless.

Cheers and good luck.

I can't confirm this nowadays, but when I worked for Apple, we always accepted exchanges for a higher-priced product.
