In The Apple Education Store, it says College Students get free Nano with computer purchase, but when I log-in as a K-12 Teacher and continue through my shopping cart for checkout, it asks me which free iPod I get. Will I still get the rebate or am I setting myself up for a customer service headache when they tell me it isn't part of the deal?

Anyone else in my boat? Maybe already have gotten (or not received...) their rebate check for an iPod as a teacher?

i thought it was for everyone who qualified for the education discount.. it's just that they target college students cause that would be the most common.

I'm guessing they are just trying to appeal to college students since probabably 95% of the people that get the free iPod will be in college.

And to answer your question you are eligable here are the requirements:

How do I qualify for the Rebate?

1. You must be a qualified Apple Education Individual end-user purchaser. Qualified participants include:

* Higher Education: Faculty and staff of Higher Education institutions; and students attending, or accepted in to a Higher Education institution.
2. You must buy a qualifying Mac and an iPod from Apple or a participating Apple Authorized Campus Reseller from June 5, 2006, through September 16, 2006.
3. The computer and iPod purchases must appear on the same sales receipt.
