Just got a new Mac Mini (2.6 i5, 16GB, Fusion), and have a occasional problem.
Sometimes the color depth seems to drop after waking from sleep. Everything seems to drop to 4 or 8 bit color or so. It's kinda trippy. Solution seems to be to click Display Preferences in the menu bar, and then as soon as I click the color tab, everything is back to normal.
This isn't after every sleep, but I'd say about 33% of the time this happens.
Not sure why this may be happening. Ideas? I'll try a new hdmi cable, but the fact that clicking the colors tab in displays fixes it, it seems to be software related.
So this is over hdmi to a 1080p Samsung monitor (BX2231).
