I'm sorry if this has been asked before.

Does anyone know a program to display color in Terminal? like ls -l shows yellow for dirs, and so on.

Colors for ls command

The ls binary that comes with Jaguar doesn't support color listings. I ran into this problem last week on my new 12" powerbook and ended up fixing it by just replacing the old ls with a newer ls binary that supported it. You could also instead of replacing the ls, just add the file as ls2 and you should be good to go with the use of some aliases added to your shell config files.

Also, I'm not at my pb now but this might be the *BETTER* solution here...

but like i said, i'm not at my pb right now so I can't check for a lsc executable.

Hope this helps.
