Do you think the time has come for new colors on the iPad line? I would like to see a brighter silver, flat black, and something really bright like red, or blue.

I wouldn’t mind blue, orange, red, yellow, purple... idk anything other than black or silver. I like the look of iPads, but more color choices would be nice. Same goes for iPhone Pro.

Maybe. I personally do like colors, but not sure if those would "sell." A phone is more personal, thus Apple can take risk to do colors (plus they do sell more iPhones). iPads already not as much seller as iPhones, so having a mass production facility to do an extra color might be too "costly" for Apple.

I am curious about the current share of iPad colors, between space gray, silver, gold, and rose gold, like how many each are actually sold percentage wise. Would be neat if Apple ever disclose that detail (no need for actual numbers, just percentage).

I wonder if it's like cars. The best sellers are still the "boring" silver or white.

To me, the color of the device isn't all that important. Especially when using a case to cover and protect it. I guess functionality is what I look for, but I can understand those who also enjoy it for that purpose.

I've been disappointed in the color options for the pro lines a while now. But then, I'm the type to promptly slap cases on all of my devices and then stickers on said cases. So I don't know if I'm the best judge for that.

It seems to be ~75% Space Grey for 2018 iPads on the used market, so maybe that's a rough indication for newer models. I prefer silver, but agree it'd be nice to see more colours - I think a Product Red would be cool, although might look quite flashy on a large device.

Even just an expansion of understated, metallic colours would be nice. A bluish slate grey/pewter, copper, a darker grey, etc.

Hopefully it would look better than the last (and only) brightly coloured iPad...
