I have to agree colorware looks terrible. Their colors are just nasty and putrid. The paint job looks nice, the colors do not.

Don't ruin it. Colorware is the worst thing that can happen to an Apple product. Unless you plan on throwing it out once you're done with it. Because there's no way you'll be able to sell it down the road on eBay and get some decent money back.

Ya on an apple product it would kill the resell value. Also colorware I think would appeal to more people if they offered designs, not just solid (ugly) colors.

I had Colorware paint an iPod photo about 3 years ago and they did a great job. I had it painted to match my car. I got a new car a few months ago and had no trouble selling it even though it was painted. Did a buy it now for $149.99 and someone snapped it up. I've seen many unpainted of the same model sell for a lot less.
