after speaking to a few friends I found that it wasn't common knowledge that you could colour your notes using Mail on OSX. So i thought i would share...
If you use the notes app on your iPhone and sync your notes to your Mac with Mail, you can add colour. Just sync and then open the note in Mail, right click on the text you want to format (colour, font, etc). Make your changes and then sync again....
very simple!
Im a Civil Engineering student, and this is a screen grab of a todo list of work i still have to do. The title is in a larger font, subheadings in different colours, red coloured text represents things i need to do this weekend etc.
