Column View Help

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to set ALL new windows to open in column view? I know you can do this with icon and list view but I can't get it to work in column view.

Have you tried Finder>Preferences>General?

There's a checkbox for column view.

Right. I guess what I should of asked is...how do you globaly change all folders to open in column view...not just NEW windows.

As far as I know, you have to set it manually for pre-existing folders.
