Hi
I have a number of MP4 files that i want to combine together. A lengthy google brought me to use MPEG Streamclip for the job...simply select each file in the order i want them, drap them into Streamclip and choose 'save as' and the files are quickly joined without reencoding :)

However, i have quite a few so i have been trying to automate this process.

I have created a workflow in Automator (see screen shot) to have a process where i can select two files and then drag them onto my workflow app. This will then auto create the joined file.

The problem I am having is that automator is 'dragging' them one at a time, rather than together, so only the second file (the last one to be 'dragged') is processed.

Can anyone help me with this please?

I dont know if I used an older version of Streamclip, but when I joined 2 mp4s together, it dumped the 6ch and produced a joined file with only 2ch sound.

I know I'm bringing back a months old friend, but I am having the same issue when I try to merge two dvd rips into one file (for playback on the Apple TV 3.) I used subler to look, and while the video merged, the audio is in two separate streams (one the length of the first DVD, the 2nd the length of the 2nd one.) The 6 ch audio did the same thing.

I am wondering if I should rerip the dvd's, combine them somehow using another program, then run a combined iso thru handbrake, although I would prefer not to.
