The iPad is going to be incredible! Take my word for it. A ton of people hate it now but trust me, it's the next biggest thing for apple! Come back in 10 years and read this post when it's archived, you will see! The iPad is gonna spread like wildfire!

Anyway. don't you guys see? These things need time to grow. Remember the iPod? Many people hated it! As we all know, pretty much ANYTHING that Apple releases is revolutionary on some front.

Psh all those haters will soon or later go out and buy one just cause its gorgeous. I was disappointed too lol but come on now.... at that price, it's screaming to be mine.

Yeah but the OS is not customized for tablet use.

Plus the modbook does not have a touch screen it's stylus only.

That's what I was hoping for... A lot of people are buying the whole "Apple can't make a good $500 Mac" line, but that's crap, the first Intel Mac Minis had a 1.5ghz Core Solo processor, the current Atom processors almost match those Core Solos, I'm sure Apple could've cut out more crap making it more streamlined, limiting what it can do (multitask limiting? 3 apps open at once), making the upgrade to a real mac a bit sweeter, but at the end of the day, the iPad is what it is for a reason, Apple chose the iPod/iPhone route because it's more popular than Mac. Simple.
