Twiba enters beta towards the end of the week so any problems you see with the current build in the video will be rectified.

*ANSWER ABOUT PUSH*
We're working on setting up push servers, we have to be sure we have a network that can cope with request on launch. If all goes to plan, Twiba will have push built right in.

*ANSWER ABOUT AUTOCAP*
This is simple behavior set for the textfield and has now been rectified.

Nice features, but if it can't do everything that others can do, its worthless to twitter addicts. UI looks clean and simple, but it failed to auto capitalize the first letter when starting to tweet.

It is very promising, but I don't see push listed under features.

Will it have push support on release?

glad to here that about push. the thing I am looking for in push is the ability to choose certain people I follow to receive push updates from. that's the one thing that would get me to your app for sure.

We are working on a Push network :) Hopefully it will be up and running for launch, however if it takes longer an update including push will be issued to all existing owners for free. It's the implimentation and scaling that needs to be done.

No one cares about coming soon. Release it and come back.

  • iPhone 3G S
  • Mac OS X Leopard
  • Worms
  • iDisk App
  • 3.0
  • 3.1

just to name a few things that PLENTY of people care about 'coming soon' and now i have to say that this is something i can add to that list. thanks OP for letting us know about it, do keep us posted with all your COMING SOON news on this brilliant looking app!

Looks pretty nice, may have to give it a try. Soon there will be like 100 twitter clients on the iPhone... i guess the more we have, the better the competition.

Thanks for the feed back :)

1) I'm not only the OP, I'm the Applications Lead (and only) developer.
2) The more twitter apps the better, Twitter we think should be personal experience, you follow who you want, say what you're thinking. It's also important to interact with it in the environment of your choice, and we hope, Twiba is that choice.
