Hey there I have found that mac has a version of command and conquer generals does anyone know if it will run okay on my system spec (see sig) I'm knew to macs.

I wasn't to sure as with windows it was simple, buy the best card you could possibly afford and everything will run awesomely ish lol

The plan is to have a retro generals evening with a mate, planing on linking a windows 7 based laptop and my mac and a PC with windows XP to have a 3 player game evening.

I just don't want to spent £25 or whatever it is on the game to end up with issue after issue, though I have come to appriciate issues happen SO very rarely compaired to my windows laptop that I sold on.

Thank you all
Glen

Your laptop should run the game without issue. I'm not sure if the Mac version of Generals can be played with PCs in multiplayer though.

The Mac version of Generals uses GameRanger for multiplayer. You can't do cross-platform play.
