Command-Click and drag in Finder not working in High Sierra

In El Capitan this was the equivalent for cut and paste. Does not seem to work in High Sierra, is this a bug or is there some other way of doing the same thing?

Not on my El Capitan iMac.

And on my High Sierra iMac Option-Click and drag and Command-Click and drag are the same as click and drag, i.e. copy and paste.

That's weird. Just dragging moves it on my Mac and holding option shows that green plus button that tells me I'm copying it…

This is on High Sierra 10.13.2 Beta (17C67b).

Here what happens on my iMac (High Sierra 10.13.1): -

Drag to another folder on the same drive - no green plus - file is moved
Option-drag to another folder on the same drive - no green plus - file is moved

Drag to a different drive - green plus - file is copied
Option-drag to a different drive - green plus - file is copied

I would like to move a file from one drive to another with copying the file and deleting the original.

Seems like a bug?

Yikes, sure looks like it!

When I tried a couple hours ago it worked just fine from one folder to another on the same drive. Crazy!
