Command+F sorely needed

... Or for you PC users, control+F. I use it literally all the time while browsing a webpage to quickly find a word that I'm looking for.

How 'bout a "find in page" button? That'd work for me, too. Anyone know of an alternative browser that has that function?
 
Try SearchHTTP in the App Store. Sits on your iPad until you need it, then change the URL to searchhttp://whatever (add search to the start) and it opens that page in the app.

Works great for me.
 
There i s a Bookmarklet for Safari called "Find in Page." Just do a quick google search for it, I have no idea where got it from originally.

Has anyone got this to work on the iPad? I tried and it doesn't do anything when you type it in the browser window. I've never tried it on the iPhone.

But I agree...I use Command+F all the time on my desktop...sucks really bad to not have it.
 
Awesome! The bookmarklet works perfectly. I put it in my bookmarks bar, so. It's always available. On a side note- I had to enable the bookmarks bar in the safari preferences; is there any other way to make it visible?
