Compact home theatre system to match Apple Tv

I am looking to buy a home theatre system to take advantage of the surround sound capabilities of the apple tv. All the systems I can find have large receivers that I feel look terrible next to the atv. I was curious if anyone knows of any compact systems that offer 5.1 capabilities, sound decent and compliment the atv aesthetically. I was looking into sound bars but I don't think their performance is worth their price. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I am not a big Bose fan but, in your case I would recommend the Bose 321.
