Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)

I want something cushioned with foam (not that fun-to-touch but less-functional teddy bear stuff as cushioning), not wild-looking on the outside... high value.

Under $100., hopefully way under.

Compact. Room for not much more than the Air.

If it had a lighter color interior so you can see small items better, that would be a +. But who offers that, at a good price?

I've ordered this lovely shoulder bag for the Air 13", its arriving today:
Link webshop
It isn't made for the present generation Air, hopefully it'll fit. But I can send it back if it doesn't. ;)

Hahaha, it just got delivered!
I must say, it fits great, for a very friendly price! Handcrafted real leather, orange suede inside and shiny black outside. Love it!

Patagonia MiniMass

Most are heavy (countering the main advantage of an Air), but have a look at this one - it's light and has (expandable) room for a few other things alongside ...

Mine's comfortable enough to have the occasional 'have I left the Air in the cafe ?' momentary dilemma.

In a similar post on 11" MBA messenger bag options someone mentioned the garish colours of the Patagonia range - agreed ;) - but there is black version with a light grey hi-vis liner which I got - so nothing inside 'disappears'.

Mine is very very light, but very minimum, exact fit, so no room to spare for the adapter or other devices. I don't need those normally, but when I travel, :cool:then I also have a bigger bag for my luggage with me. Ah what the heck, beside travel, I got pockets in my jacket...:D

I just use a sleeve with d rings and a strap from sf bags, but you may want to check out bags from built ny. They are made completely from neoprene so are lightweight and minimalistic. Sorry no links, but on the ipad. :p

Yeah, I plan on doing that, got my sleeve fitted with the D-rings, so it's a nice option to have!
