company name...opinions

right i thought i would run this by some light minded folk.

some of you might of seen that thread about me running myself as a ltd company. well...i have come up with a name

pablished - its a play on my initials and published (if you hadnt guessed)

what ya think, i think ill use the site for graphic work and eventually uploading my mountain bike videos and photography.

could be like my creative hub online?

any thoughts

i have attached my first logo design for it. lol

TBH,the name reminds me of the "B-Sharps" from the Simpsons "a name that's witty at first, but that seems less funny each time you hear it". Also it doesn't roll off the tongue. I'd keep trying... good luck.

cheers man it was super simple. Just some cool font, then moved around in Illustrator.

cheers for the comments, im still thinking of names but this one has kinda stuck atm.

I wonder if you shouldn't modify the letter "a" so that it is more like "a" rather than "a". Otherwise, the style of the logotype almost makes it look like a sloppily written "u".

Hi..your name is ok ,but the logo is not up to the mark.i would suggest to select a better name and logo

I kinda like the name as well, but what puts me off is something in the whole shaping area of it. It might be a combination of the "I don't know how much I want to tilt" tilt and the handwriting thing going on.

Ehm, I think what I trying to say is that I feel like it would look better if the hand writing had more determination in it and and a light look... like the name when you say... try and say it... Pablished... it's a "to the point" name that sounds like thin lines written in determinate haste on a horizontal line.

Im rambling I know, just pouring out thoughts.

The name is good! I like the idea of adding Umlauts. It will highlight the difference between 'Published’ & 'Pablshed’. But you need to work more on logo. It can be improved. All the best!

The name is pretty lame and the "logo" is worse - most reasonable people will just think you misspelled published. Keep trying unless you don't care about brand. And as for Umlauts... don't use them unless you have a purpose other than hiding a bad mark.

I'm pretty sure that the people who are commenting that they like the name or the logo have little professional experience to back up their claim. Just because someone says something is good doesn't mean that it is.

thanks for the info guys...i like the logo and name...but the more i say the more im falling out of love with it.

so maybe back to the drawing board i go lol
