Company of Heroes Mac - Bug or Feature?

On mission 14 (Autry) I've killed every living German unit and building on the map except for the Tiger Ace, who's just sitting just north of my base by the high munitions point. I can't seem to get him to move so I've surrounded him with several AT Guns and tanks of various kinds, including a Calilope. I was able to get him to 87% then he becomes completely invulnerable, despite the constant barrage from all that firepower.

The only potential solution I've found to this problem is a post on Aspyr's technical support forums (by another customer) claiming the Tiger Ace becomes invulnerable (and the mission unsolvable) if you save your game at any point during the mission. Is this true and if so is this a bug or feature? Either way it's ludicrous. There's absolutely no indication that saving the game (something you're allowed to do as often as you want in mission 1-13) during this mission will penalize you in this manner. Anybody know anything about this?

I had a hard time defeating the Tiger Ace until I looked it up and found that it's invulnerable except from behind. It took me two playthroughs. Not sure about the save issue. Good luck!

I ended up starting over and doing the mission again, this time without saving, and I was able to complete the mission without problems. It's pretty bizarre that saving your game at any point during this mission makes that tank invincible so I have to wonder how many people have run into this problem. In any case I got past it but thanks for your help anyways.
