I have Powerbeats pro and ended up buying the airpods pro today. Sounds wise, it’s almost identical. Both sound great with just enough bass. Feature wise, AirPods pro wins hands down.

decision to upgrade is really dependent on your daily usage. For me I use my head phones daily at the gym, and almost throughout the day for conference calls. I usually use one Powerbeats pro headphones for conference calls since I like to hear background incase someone is trying to talk to me. However with the AirPods pro, I can wear both with transparency mode and still clearly hear my surroundings, which is one of my primary reasons for upgrading.

Noise cancellation is actually pretty amazing when switching between transparency and NC. Doesnt block 100% but maybe about 85+%, enough to notice the difference for sure.

Now for gym use, I don’t believe I will have any issues. I’ve been wearing it for few hours, and not once did I worry about falling out. I did aggressively shake my head and did some jumps, and earphones stayed in with no issues.

I initially bought them to test and do comparison with the Powerbeats pro, however after using them throughout the day, the AirPods pro is clearly the winner. Planning to sell my beats pro and keep these for my daily use.

to be honest, even with all the review on the web, the best thing to do is buy them and try them or go to the Apple store to test. The reviews are very subjective, some people say sounds is worse then AirPods 2, some say it’s way better. It really depends on your experience. However I’m sure you will enjoy them as Much as I am.

i had the powerbeats pros and returned them because they never sat in my ears right and as a result were always too quiet, especially at the gym where they play music. these dont have that issue at all, and have the added bonus of noise cancellation, can fit in your pocket easily, dont move around like original airpods did, and sound really good. impulse buy but im keeping them for sure.
