Was using SkyView to find the moon last night - (cloudy sky)
In the app, looking through camera, pointed me 180 degrees in the wrong direction.
Restarted phone and app and recalibrate compass, then worked.
iPhone 6s 9.0.1

AppleInsider is reporting that there is a bug on iPhone 6S and 6S plus relating to the API for compass/gyroscope use. I'm guessing it'll be patched soon.
