I installed F@H but decided I didn't want it. So I deleted it, well most of it. Some of it is still in the trash but I can't get rid of it. It's still in use. How do I make it, not in use? It's not running, to my knowledge. It's not in the force quit menu either.
Any help is appreciated,
Thanks.

Go into the Activity Monitor and find the F@H processors, there should be a 'fahcore_*random number*.exe and a fah5. Quit the process of these and then try deleting. If this doesn't work tell me :)

Try Secure Empty Trash (which often helps with files wrongly claimed to be in use) or hold down shift and option while Emptying Trash (which deletes locked files).

You did try a simple reboot, to see if those files stopped being in use then, right...?

Logging out or rebooting should kill all your processes and let you delete the files. Otherwise, if you're comfortable with the terminal, you can search for the processes using a command like
Code:
ps -x | grep -i folding
and using kill.

Edit: beat me to it

I just got this thing, where's activity monitor?
I'm trying to see how long I can go without rebooting, so that's a last resort. Bragging rights for my Windows friends. :p
Edit: I love spotlight and activity monitor.
I LOVE APPLE! That was so easy once I knew what I was looking for. It worked, thank you SO much! :D
