iPhone Completely Removing tweaks/packages

So I've removed some tweaks and then decided to reinstall them sometimes. When I reinstall them I notice it remembered all of my settings. Why? Isn't it supposed to get rid of everything?

After crusing around ifile var/mobile/Library/Preferences to be specific I've noticed quite a few well actually maybe all of my old tried out tweaks have some .plist file hanging out here. Is this the place where it is remembering my old settings from those tweaks? Anybody know? Is it safe to delete those? There is even a springtomize folder that has nothing in it. I've ran icleaner and thought that would take care of that stuff. Guess not! I think my OCD is on overdrive tonight! Any thoughts? Thanks!

Completely normal behavior. Yes they're safe to delete. In fact, every once in a while I go in there and check to make sure I don't have unnecessary plist files from stuff I removed. You can also check the caches folder.

One other thing, you CAN use iCleaner to delete those plist files. Just tap on "+" tab on the bottom then scroll down to preference files. You can delete plist files from there. Hope this helps!

The plist file for tweaks is essentially the settings you set for that particular tweak (for example, with activator, it's probably of all the assigned activations)

Thanks! So it would be bad to delete one that is currently being used I would assume. I won't do that!

I'm not seeing a setting in icleaner to delete them. Ill just take care of them from ifile.

the tweak would probably just remake a new plist file and you would have to reset the settings. Just make sure to not accidentally delete plist files you need for the system to work!

Yeah I'll only delete the obvious ones that I know were tweaks! Otherwise bad things could happen I'm sure! don't want to have to start from scratch!

My bad. Maybe the dev removed it from the regular version and is only available in the pro version. Not sure but if you are using the regular version and its not there, then its prolly only available in the pro version.

Springtomize2 has an option to do this as well (unless it was also removed)
