I am using Comply tips on My AirPod Pro 2's. There just is not anything better. I ordered 2 sets of these military grade tips. Right now I am unsure if the Medium or the large size works the best so I ordered a set of each. I cannot tell you just how much better the Comply tips are from the Apple supplied silicone tips, it has to be experienced.

MilSpec of course sometimes just means «lowest bidder wins».
I had the regular Complys, as I have used their foam tips on all in-ears before to get better sound on B&O, Jabra, even the Sony XM4, and was surprised that there was no boost in terms of sound quality at all. Most headphones get more bass-y with memory foam, but I suspect the sound of the APPs is so computational in terms of noise cancellation and automatic equalization that the Complys do not mix well with this set-up. Also they sometimes led to the headphones not loading in the case because the stems weren’t touching the contacts. My APPs fit tight and secure in everyday use with the silicon tips and feet more comfortable and light with exactly the same sound and NC. Compl doesn mention improvements in sound in their advertisements, which they usually do, so i will be interesting to hear if your sound gets subjectively better with the new tips.

The problem with the Air Pod Pro’s is there just is not many choices. I use Comply’s on the Shures SE-426 and SE 536 earphones. But they are the best of a lot of choices there.

Have Comply. Tried them once and went back to the Apple silicone ones. tried another brand of memory foam tips. Same thing. So I bought 3-4 kinds of silicone tips from XS > L and it certainly seems as if I like the silicone better.

It’s not like I’m lying to myself; when the APP3’s come out, I’ll get those and go through the same thing.

I can't use the AirPod Pro earbuds without Comply tips- they simply fall out of my ears with the Apple silicone tips. The Comply tips are great for me but I've never used the "military grade" ones. I'm not really sure what I'd gain with those over their regular tips.

I took the time to look this up. Comply has a military division and they make the sound isolating tips for tactical personal communication earphones their Foam tip are made in compliance to MIL-810 Rev-H. It is a 200 page document. The foam is longer lasting (about 3 months) is heat activated, and molds your ears for an all day fit, they are waterproof and have better sound isolation. The EP7 Sonic Defender, and the INVISIO X7 in-ear headset use them. Through the companies that make these 2 earsets you can get Military grade Comply tips that will fit on Shure style earphones. 40-10107-21 Military-grade Comply.

This from Comply:
Military-grade and engineered to deliver maximum noise reduction for mission-critical communication. Extremely soft, viscoelastic Comply™ foam conforms to the ear canal to maintain an acoustic seal and retain the device in the ear. Comply™ Canal Tips are the industry standard for communication in high-noise environments and the original foam tips trusted and used by the military for hearing protection and communication. Best for Lightweight communication systems, High-noise Environments, Military, Audiology, Aviation, Industrial, and Medical Use.
