Component AV Cable

Hi,
I just ordered a 2nd Generation iPod Touch and am will need to be able to plug it into my TV with video out to watch movies. I have a third-party cable that works fine with my iPod Video. Will that cable work with the new iPod Touch? I really don't want to spend $50 on Apple's Component AV Cable. Thanks.

I think the ipod touch requires the newer cable.

I have an generic branded one that I bought off ebay and it said that it had some new chip in it or something.

So it looks like your going to have to pay for a new one.
