After 3 trips to the CompUSA to buy additional RAM for my iMac G5, I still had nothing that would work!
On my first trip, I was given the wrong ram stick to purchase--wouldn't even go into my Mac. The 2nd trip (when I waited in line at the customer service desk for 10 minutes), I read them the manual's ram specifications & was given a stick that would fit into the slot, but was not recognized by my Mac. The third trip, I got a stick that would be recognized by my Mac, but caused 2 system failures within 5 minutes.
At my 4th trip to the store, I asked to see the manager, & explained the problems I was having. He offered no apology, & didn't even respond to me. He turned to another employee, told them to refund my money, & went back to chatting up this cute chick.
I'm not going back to CompUSA, not even for a mouse pad.
