Hey people,

Im hoping someone can help me out.....

Yesterday i installed a Sonnet 4+4 SATA PCI card inside my trusty Quicksilver. I then connected two external 300GB SATA Hard Drives inside a OWC enclosure. Everything was working fine...managed to back up a bunch of my files to them. However, then the problems started. Every now and then the computer freezes up. Sometimes when im trying to acces one of the drives or sometimes after it has been sleeping.

I try and force quit but the finder then gets stuck and i have to do a hard restart.

It seems like the finder/mac loses sight of the new drives and cant seem to acces them when it should.

Anyways, my computer, running 10.4.4, was always soooooo reliable and now that ive spent all this money on external storage it seems to be having trouble...

Anyone got any ideas???

thanks for any help/comments/ideas that can help me fix this problem.
